Why she surfaced: posts her programme rather than mirror shots, and trains at a gym in Praga.
Four steps
It takes about ninety seconds.
After that, the only thing left to do is show up.
We read for one thing: what she’s actually into.
The gym she trains at. The city she just flew back from. Where she ends up on a Friday. All of it out of public bios and captions, and that is the whole input.
It is also the better opening. A shared obsession gives you something to say on Tuesday and something to do on Saturday. A jawline gives you four seconds.

Cities go live in the order people ask for them. One email when yours does. No newsletter, no drip, no “7 tips for better openers”.

Straight answers
The questions you’re actually asking.
Be honest. Is this creepy?
Fair question. Instdate only ever looks at things people chose to publish in public: a bio, a caption, an open community they follow. It never reads private accounts, DMs, location history, or anything behind a login.
What it produces is a suggestion for you, that you read, in your hands. That’s the same thing your friend does when they say “you two should meet, you both climb”. If we ever built something you’d be embarrassed to explain on a first date, we’d have got it wrong.
How much of the writing does it do?
As much as you want it to. Starter drafts the opener and hands it to you. Copilot goes further and drives the conversation, so you stop guessing what to write and it keeps things moving on what you both actually like. Nothing goes out that you haven’t seen, and you can edit or bin any line before it does.
Where do these people actually come from?
Open interest communities. The followers of a gym. The people posting to a local film-photography hashtag. A run club’s public account. If a community is public, it’s fair game the same way a noticeboard in a café is. If it’s private, restricted or login-walled, it doesn’t exist to us.
In the demo, everyone you see is a composite we wrote ourselves. No real account appears anywhere on this site.
Is this even built yet? What am I paying for?
You’re paying to reserve a seat in the first New York cohort. The demo you just used is real software running on sample data, not a video. The live version is being built now. We’re being loud about this because a landing page that pretends to be a finished company teaches us nothing, and the whole point of this page is to find out whether you want the thing. If we can’t ship in your city within 90 days, you pay nothing.
What if she doesn’t reply?
Some won’t. A good opener about a real shared interest does a lot better than “hey”, and it does not do 100%. Instdate isn’t a volume machine, and if you use it like one it’ll work badly on purpose. Twenty thoughtful messages a month to people who genuinely share your thing is the design. If that’s not enough for you, this isn’t your product.
One interest. Ninety seconds. See if this is real.
The demo runs on sample data and asks for nothing.
